Daddy Daughter Dance, Round II

She's waited with me for two years now.
Patiently, and sometimes not so patiently, waiting for her time to be old enough for the
Daddy Daughter Dance.
This year it was her turn, and since Charlotte's school has their own now- she got to have a one on one date with her best friend at the Ballard dance.
Precedence has been set, and so the tradition continued with a proper pick up at the front door with flowers and pictures by the fireplace.

And two really happy and darling cuties.

Big kiddo and I checked out 3D version of the Jungle Book (wow. beautiful. a bit scary. loved it.) and finished the night up with chocolate milkshakes.

I so love this little family of mine.

The sweetest days.

"After all,"Anne had said to Marilla once, "I believe the nicest and sweetest days are not those on which anything very splendid or wonderful or exciting happens, but just those that bring simple little pleasures, following one another softly, like pearls slipping off a string."
